Conference «BRIDGE – Best Practices in EU-Russia University Collaboration» was held

Two workshops within the conference on «BRIDGE – Best Practices in EU-Russia University Collaboration» were held on 4 - 5 June, 2013 at Lappeenranta University of Technology, Lappeenranta, Finland.
The 1-st day workshop was targeted at European and Russian university and scientific staff who are working with international RTD and educational programs cooperation and staff engaged in international research & development projects.
The 2-nd day seminar was focused on funding possibilities for EU-Russia R&D cooperation and mobility as well as offered presentations of experts from EU and Russia on funding possibilities for European-Russian R&D cooperation.
Dr. Vladimir ERYOMIN, Head of Department for multilateral scientific cooperation with European countries at the Presidium of Russian Academy of Sciences was invited to this conference as a speaker.
During the conference, materials and current results of Finnish-Russian Science Cooperation in the Frame of International Funding Opportunities were discussed.
