On the basis of the correlation method, an efficient algorithm of calculating disparity and finding the corresponding points on pairs of stereo images is developed. Algorithms optimized with respect to computa- tional performance and adaptable to the particular characteristics of automatic real-time recognizing systems are developed. Modifications of algorithms for the optimization of measurement accuracy of disparity look-up tables are proposed.
