FROM HIERARCHICAL SYSTEMS IN ECONOMICS TO THESE ONES IN PHYSICS

 Аннотация

    It is well known the consideration of hierarchical systems in economics. For example, there are a manufacturing branch (center) and factories (subsystems) which belong to this branch. Mathematical models are formalized, in simplest cases, as linear programming problems with block structure matrixes. The resolution of these problems is carried out, as a rule, by means of two level decomposition methods. The center solves a coordination problem of the upper level. The lower level solves independent problems of subsystems. In this article we introduce a new class of problems: hierarchical problems of mathematical physics. Subsystems are described by partial differential equations and there is a common resource of main systems. We lay a bridge between two sciences: systems theory and mathematical physics. It becomes to be possible owing to the decomposition method based on iterative aggregation. We offer this approach and show its wide applications.
